Glucophage 1000 - Merck

For the price, Merck is still favorite form of glucophage, hands down. Took some time off from Metformin, so when restarting, expected terrible upset stomach sides, but none when broken in 1/2 for 500mg b.i.d. After 7 days, take whole 1000mg tab at once @ night and reserved for high carb days or occasional cheat nights. Could be wrong, but personally don’t believe in taking daily if not pre-diabetic or otherwise, but rather utilized sparingly as a tool to offset a cheat night. Be aware, these are great, but be careful when/how you take, bc it WILL give you hypoglycemic sides (dizziness/blurred vision), especially if you’ve taken, say 500mg after dinner and then decide to work out or do cardio later that evening. Can’t say enough good things and still my go to.

I have tried many different manufacturers in the past, with doses ranging from 500, 750, 850, & 1000mg. Merck works great for me breaking in half (500mg) and using twice/day for glucose regulation & keeping body fat low. My wife swears by it as well, but make sure you are mindful of timing in regard to dosage, by hypoglycemic side effects are definitely a possibility. Overall, great price and will be ordering again many times.
